Greater Europe Mission exists to assist the people of Europe in building up the body of Christ so that every person is within reach of a witnessing fellowship. A witnessing fellowship is a community of believers who love and worship the Triune God and who, through their words and deeds, are proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. The desired end goal for a witnessing fellowship is to see them mature through the Holy Spirit's influence into a loving, vibrant, multiplying church led by spiritual leaders, searching the Scriptures as their source of guidance for faith and practice.

GEM has over 300 missionaries in 26 different countries serving in ministries ranging from church planting to theological education. Among missions agencies, GEM is relatively young. It was founded in 1953 by Bob Evans, a Navy chaplain who felt called to the people of Europe after serving in France in World War II. Today it continues the vision of this dedicated minister of the Gospel by advancing and building up the Church throughout Europe and its periphery.

As we have continued to learn more about this organization, we have been greatly blessed by the vision and resources they provide for the furthering of the Kingdom in Europe. We have also been blessed by their commitment to developing and caring for all of their missionaries. We have truly joined an intimate and caring family with whom we can fulfill the call that God has placed on our lives.
