How could we have ever doubt that God really does want to provide for all our needs! A month ago, Kathi and I were freaking out because we didn't know how we were going to make it financially through Christmas and the move in January. I started looking around for jobs with no success. It's hard to find something when you know you're leaving in a few weeks and are committed to taking a long Christmas vacation. I had one possibility with a toy company near by, but that fell through. I eventually decided to just go back to Starbucks, but they ended up not calling me back.

Yesterday, I got a call out of the blue from a former co-worker in the undergraduate admissions office at Trinity. He said they were having some personnel transitions right now and that they needs some part-time temporary help. I told him that I could probably only work for a few weeks and that I couldn't start till after Christmas. No problem, he says! Praise God with me! This work will give us the money we need to make our move back to Ohio go smoothly. He really did have it figured out all along!

Well, it certainly has been a long time since I've posted to this blog. The main reason has been because of delays in getting our new website operational. Now that we are live with the new site, I'll start posting more regularly again. Speaking of the new site, what do you guys think? Isn't it great! I want to give a great big thank you to Jason Miller who designed all of this for us.

Just as an update, our support is still inching along, but we've had some encouraging meetings the past week or so. We meet with at least three or four people who were really excited about what we're doing. It's always a boost to meet with people like. Please continue to pray that we'd be able to finish what we need to do here in Illinois.
