It has been a busy last few days. We are completely bushed. On Thursday, we had a packed day of appointments with supporters and potential partners. Yesterday was spent driving back from Chicago. Then, this morning we had to get up early to work at the YMCA all day. We're looking forward to our day of rest tomorrow.

The trip to Chicago was really productive. We went into it with little planned, but we ended up meeting with a lot of people. We also had some surprise leads that will hopefully pan out into some major support. We are praying that the fruit of this trip will go a long way to getting us to Germany.

One of the most encouraging things that came out of this past week was to see several of our current supporters really begin to go to bat for us. My friend Brian, who recently finished support raising for Crusade, said that the turning point for their support came when their supporters took ownership for the ministry they were a part of. I think we're starting to see that. We had several friends and supporters this trip grow in their burden to help us get to the field. They are working now to connect us with churches and individuals within their sphere of influence. We hope that this will serve to multiply our efforts towards finishing this journey. Please pray that God would open up these new contacts and connections.
