Kathi and I are in Indianapolis this week doing some preliminary work in preparation for our time here next month. Today we got together with a pastor from a church in the area. He was extremely encouraging, and he said he'd help us connect with some people in the area while we are here. It's also nice because his church will be a nice church home while we're staying here.

The more we pray and explore this idea of support raising in Indy, the more we are seeing some exciting doors open. We started out with 2 couples that we know in the Indianapolis area. At this point, we have new connections with a few churches and a couple of other individual contacts that have opened up. Please continue to pray that God would give us guidance in this new phase of our support raising.

Just a quick update. We still plugging away at support raising. We found out last week that the Park Christian Church in Dennison, Ohio voted to join our financial support team! This is good news indeed. We are so grateful for them and their partnership. Their support bumps us up to 68%, so praise God!

As we mentioned in our latest email, we've decided to take advantage of an opportunity to do some support raising in Indianapolis this summer. Friends of ours who live in Indy are going overseas for the summer, and they've agreed to let us stay at their place while they're gone. They're also going to help us get connect with some possible supporters in the area. Please be praying that God would be opening these doors for us!
