Yesterday we sent in our registration for the
Center for Intercultural Training, which is our required pre-field training that we need to take before leaving for Germany. This is a huge milestone for us! It means that we are so close to finishing our support raising and joining the mission field! The training session will start on February 13th and run for six weeks. In the training we'll get teaching and interaction on doing ministry and life in a cross-cultural setting. We'll also be taking a course in linguistics and learning a second language effectively. From what I've heard from others who have gone through this training, it's a life-changing experience!
This past week, we had several people commit to support us in ministry! At one point, we had two new supporters within one hour! We're getting so excited that our momentum is building. It makes us realize that this long journey is finally starting to wrap up! It's been sobering to think that we will be moving from one long journey into another one. But, Praise God! He has been so faithful.
Please continue to be praying for us. We're at 92% now, which is awesome! But, there's still a little bit more we have to raise. On top of that, we have all of the preparations for the training next month. It's going to be a busy couple of weeks.
